Back to School, and Vieri watch

So Milan reconvene on 16th July, with friendlies starting on 26 July and running all the way through August.

July 26 – TBC
July 29 – Trofeo TIM – Inter and Juventus (Turin)
July 31- August 3 – Moscow Tournament – Lokomotiv Moscow, Chelsea and Sevilla
August 9 – Manchester City (A)
August 17 – Trofeo Berlusconi – Juventus (H)

They have a pretty busy time of it, and Inzaghi will be spending his 35th birthday in Manchester, unless he gets special leave. It’s still not clear who Inzaghi is going to be playing with/competing against up front. Adebayor seems to have turned his attention to Barcelona, if it’s not all just a ploy to get a decent amount of money out of Arsenal, and as for the Ronaldinho saga, I’ll wait until he’s actually written his name, I think.

Someone who definitely won’t be returning to Milan is Christian Vieri. “My best friend in football, apart from my brother Simone,” as Inzaghi describes him, in a rather unenthusiastic manner. Despite a campaign against him by some Atlalanta fans, the Orobici have signed Vieri for a year, the third time he’ll have played for the club.
